9 Months!

Everett is 9 months old! This was a BIG month for Everett and mommy is having a hard time with the fact that her little baby is turning into a big boy.

Here's what Everett's been up to this month:
- He cut his first tooth on Thanksgiving day. I guess he really wanted some turkey. Next year Everett.

- About a week ago he started to stand by himself for a few minutes and then yesterday he surprised his dad and me by taking 3 steps. We couldn't believe our eyes.

- He recently discovered a love for books. He'll sit on the floor and flip through the pages while jabbering to himself. He also likes to sit in our lap and listen, but his attention span is short.

- Eating has become a chore. Everett has always been a really good eater, but lately he is not interested in eating. Mom and Dad have had to come up with a lot of tricks to get him to eat - using a big boy spoon, making Everett laugh and then sneaking a bite in, flying the spoon through the air etc.

- Everett loves to go to the park, Bouncing Off The Walls, and basically anywhere there are other kids to play with. He is a very social little boy.

- Everett is a big boy. He weighs 22 lbs 8 oz (79%), Height 29.3 inches (81%), and he definitely has a Butters head - 47 cm (90%). Keep growing Everett. We love you!
