Sunday Activity

My good friend Heather kindly let me borrow her sewing machine and I have been working on this baby blanket. I just finished sewing the squares today; Ryan and I had fun laying out the design.

Thanksgiving

Ryan and I had a fabulous Thanksgiving! Our house was full with 10 great friends and neighbors. We enjoyed a delicious turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, rolls, sweet potatoes, jello, green beans, and lots of pie! Boy did we eat!

I am so grateful to live in this wonderful city with a kind, loving husband and many fabulous friends. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Shower

About two weeks ago I went to Utah to visit family. They are so sweet to throw me a fabulous shower! I was showered with beautiful clothes, hand knit blanket, swings, and much more. It was great to see so many people who I love and I am extremely grateful for the fun time that I had.

Before I knew it I was back in Boston with my fabulous Husband. While I was gone he transformed our apartment into a home full of Christmas cheer. Look at that beautiful tree (and man)!

Taryn's tummy is starting to grow!

I talked Taryn into taking some belly shots tonight. She's just barely starting to look the part of mom. Doesn't she look great! - ryan

Election Birthday

It may be voting day, but it's also my Birthday. I had a fantastic day filled with lots of love, gifts, and phone calls from friends and family. Ryan and I went out to the melting pot and had a great evening. We even picked a name for the baby....you'll find out in 4 months!

I don't have time tonight to write about all the awesome gifts and experience, so I hope these pictures will suffice for now.

Quick photo update

Between work and preparing for our little boy, blogging has definitely taken a back seat. I hope this quick photo update will get me out of the dog house temporarily. I'll get back to posting soon. The most exciting event over the past few weeks was a visit from Ryan's parents. We loved having them in our home and had a sensational time together. The highlight by far was our long weekend in Maine. We stayed at Sunday River, not far from Bethel and we could not help but enjoy the beauty that is New England in the Fall.

And they came with gifts!!

What we've been up to

Well, it's been awhile since I posted and I thought I'd take a m0ment to give a quick update. Ryan and I both have been working long hours as we are both moving at the HBS pace, which is both extremely rewarding and extremely exhausting.

In the last month we have had a lot of fun: My parents visited us, We celebrated Ryan's Birthday, Heather and Steve (Ryan's siblings) visited us, and we had a fantastic fun-filled weekend in Danvers, MA with the HBS LDSSA.

Happy Birthday Sweetheart!

For those of you who do not know Ryan well, this picture may seem odd or perhaps lazy on my part? However, Ryan loves ice cream and hates cake and thus the candles in the ice cream!

Dinner on Ryan's b-day (We had excellent new york steaks (Ryan's Favorite) from the campus grill)!
