The Cape

After a week apart, Ryan and I met up at the Cape! Unfortunately we both forgot our cameras, but the weather and beach were beautiful. I arrived on Friday afternoon with two other Significant Others or "SO's" as we are called at Bain; after checking in I headed to the beach for a quick afternoon stroll. The sun was shinning and the water was beautiful, the only thing that could make it better was meeting up with Ryan in a few hours. Ryan tracked me down as soon as his meetings were over and we went to dinner with other Bain Consultants and SO's. It was a great evening and a great weekend.

We drove back to Boston today and said our sad goodbyes. Luckily, we will see each other a lot this summer. It is just so weird not to live together. I definitely miss my love.

Barbecue with the Barnes

Last Night Ryan and I had a barbecue with our good friends Patrick and Patricia Barnes. We went to Shaw's and picked out our steak and then headed to their house for a barbecue. It was awesome; I don't remember the last time I had steak cooked on a grill. I long for the day when we have a porch and grill (I'm sure that day will come and then I will long to be back in my apartment in Boston :) ). After the barbecue we went on a walk along the river and then returned the their air conditioned apartment for a fabulous battle of Settlers. I won the game - my first Settlers win to date! Now Ryan and I are just enjoying our last moments together before he heads to Texas! I'll miss him tons, but I know we will make it!

Visit With Rob

Our friend Rob Weiler was in town for the weekend and we had a fabulous Boston time. We started our adventure on Wednesday and just finished this afternoon. We had a fun weekend filled with a Red Sox game, lunch at Galleria Umberto, visits to the Old North Church, Prudential Center, USS Constitution, and more. Below are some of the pics from the weekend.
