Puerto Vallarta

I just returned from a fun filled trip to Mexico with Ryan and the whole Bain, Dallas office. We had a great time, lounging by the pool, sipping pina coladas "sin alcohol", and floating in the ocean. I arrived Wednesday afternoon and headed straight to the pool. Ryan caught up with me at about 5:00 and he quickly acclimated to the hard life by the pool. The first night we had a Mexican Luau with the office and enjoyed meeting new colleagues and spouses. The next day was pretty rough because we had to be awake and at an office meeting by 9:00 am :). We enjoyed listening to the year-at-a glance presentation and then were back at the pool by 11:00 am. Phew....we only missed two hours of relaxing. It is about this time that I say to Ryan, "do you realize we haven't paid a cent for this vacation yet?" It seemed like a dream. Thanks Bain.

The next night was 70's night. All Bainee's (Bain employees and significant others) dressed up in 70's attire for the theme dinner. The pictures say it all. Also, Ryan and the other summer associates debuted by singing a song with the Bain Band (see below).

On Friday we headed to Dreams Resort with several of the other SA's who decided to stay the weekend. Rather than give you a play by play I will let the pictures tell the story.

That looked liked a great trip. I wish Tyson's company would pay for a trip like that and with the hotel accommodations being so luxurious. Hopefully you guys can join us in Costa Rica next summer.
