Goodbye Harpers!

This weekend we said goodbye to our great friends Heather, Scott, and Reina Harper. We are going to miss you guys! See you this fall.

Since the Harpers were headed out for the summer, we packed the weekend full of Harper Fun! Friday night Ryan took pictures of their family on campus and then we all went out to dinner at Border Cafe, a great Mexican restaurant in Harvard Square. The fun continued on Saturday when we went to see the new Indiana Jones movie with the Harpers, the Barnes, and the Holley's. After the movie we ate dinner and enjoyed fabulous conversation at a local Irish Pub. To top off the evening we headed to Little Italy for some delicious Italian Gelato.

In addition to all the fun we had with friends, Ryan and I had a lot of fun with just each other. On Saturday we went on a 3 mile hike at Blue Hills Reservation, a beautiful hiking area about 30 minutes south of Boston.

Today we went to Walden Pond where the well known author Henry David Thoreau lived. The area is absolutely gorgeous. There were people swimming, Kayaking, fishing and much more. We enjoyed our time walking on the wooded path around the pond and taking in the breathtaking view that surrounded us. All in all we had a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend!

Oh how we miss you guys! We just got to Midland, it's nice but it would be MUCH better with a little Butters. We have some funny stories, I'll give you a call to tell you all about them.

Hey...the Harpers are linked on my friends' blog. Ask the Harpers how they know Harvey and Lindsay. They are good friends of ours from our time at Cornell. It is a small...small...small.......
